Moonspell teve seu início em 1989 com o nome de Morbid God, porém, somente em 1993, quando já se denominavam Moonspell, conseguiram o primeiro contrato com uma gravadora, que tinha gostado da demo Anno Satanae. À partir daí os caminhos começaram a se abrir para a banda, que hoje é bastante reverenciada, não só na sua terra natal, mas também em outros países europeus, como a Alemanha por exemplo. O que eu acho legal em Moonspell são as influências da banda, como não poderia ser diferente, a maioria das canções são inspiradas em cultura lusitana, algumas músicas inclusive, são cantadas em português, porém não adianta se animar muito, pois, pelo menos a mim, incomoda um pouco ficar ouvindo aquele sotaque português carregado nas músicas, e eu continuo achando as músicas em inglês mais interessantes. Agora, independente do idioma a qualidade nas letras é fantástica! O álbum recém lançado ainda vai dar um muito o que falar! É óbvio que a banda já tem vários outros álbuns de respeito como o The Antidote e o Memorial, porém Night Eternal, é diferente, pois apresenta uma banda totalmente madura, e que após várias experimentações, parece ter encontrado o estilo ideal de seu som.Year: 1995 - 2012
