:sinopse:
Durante a Segunda Guerra Mundial, um bombardeio destrói a cidade de Londres,
forçando diversas crianças a buscarem abrigo em cidades menores da Inglaterra.
Edward (Oaklee Pendergast) é uma destas crianças traumatizadas, que acaba de
perder os pais e não pronuncia uma palavra sequer. Ele é acolhido pela governanta
Jean (Helen McCrory) e pela professora Eve (Phoebe Fox) na Mansão do Pântano.
O abrigo está caindo aos pedaços, mas serve como refúgio ao pequeno grupo. Aos
