:sinopse:

Regina (Audrey Hepburn) está prestes a se divorciar de seu marido quando descobre qe ele foi assassinado logo após ter sacado todo o dinheiro do casal, dinheiro este que agora está desaparecido. Ela conhece então um estranho homem, Peter Joshua (Gary Grant), que está interessado no dinheiro de seu marido, e que aparenta ser de uma lista de pagamento que ele robou.
