Robert Sylvester Kelly (Chicago, Illinois, 8 de Janeiro de 1967) é um cantor, compositor e produtor musical norte-americano conhecido internacionalmente pela a designação artística R. Kelly.
Conquistou sucesso como líder vocal do grupo "Public Announcement" em 1992. No final dos anos 90 lançou o álbum de maior vendas da sua carreira, "R." (1998), que contém canções como "I'm Your Angel", com a participação de Celine Dion, "If I Could Turn Back The Hands Of Time" e "I Believe I Can Fly".
Tornou-se um dos melhores artistas no estilo R&B entre a década de 90 e início dos anos 2000, o seu alter-ego permite considerar-se "The King of R&B". R. Kelly é conhecido pela a sua sonoridade gospel e letras altamente sexuais.
