Cyndi Lauper (nascida Cynthia Ann Stephanie Lauper Thornton; Nova Iorque, 22 de Junho de 1953) é uma cantora Americana vencedora de um Grammy, compositora, multi-instrumentista e uma actriz vencedora de um Emmy. Com o lançamento de seu primeiro álbum solo, "She's So Unusual", tornou-se a primeira mulher no mundo a ter cinco canções na tabela Billboard. Lauper já lançou 11 álbuns de estúdio e cerca de 40 singles, vendendo cerca de 25 milhões de álbuns no mundo.
Recentemente lançou seu 11° álbum de estúdio, chamado Memphis Blues, lançado nos EUA a 22 de Junho, vendendo cerca de 15.353 cópias na semana de lançamento, estreando na 26ª posição da Billboard 200 e em primeiro lugar no Billboard Blues Albuns.
