 :sinopse:

Em 1843 um capitão do Texas Rangers, Jake Cutter (John Wayne), prende um jogador, Paul Regret (Stuart Whitman), que teve o azar de matar em um duelo o filho de um juiz. Porém, ao retornarem, se unem para acabar com os comancheros, brancos que vendem armas e bebidas para os índios, tornando-os violentos.
