:sinopse:

Pat Solatano perdeu tudo - a casa, o trabalho e a mulher. Depois de ter passado oito meses numa instituição estatal, encontra-se a viver de novo em casa dos pais. Pat está determinado a reconstruir a sua vida, a conseguir manter-se otimista e, apesar das circunstâncias difíceis da separação, a reconciliar-se com a sua mulher. Tudo o que os seus pais desejam é que ele recomponha a sua vida - e que partilhe com eles a obsessão familiar com o clube Philadelphia Eagles. As coisas complicam-se quando Pat conhece Tiffany, uma misteriosa e problemática mulher, com os seus próprios problemas. Tiffany oferece-se para ajudar Pat a reconquistar a mulher, mas em troca ele terá de fazer algo muito importante para ela. Este acordo acaba por estabelecer uma inesperada ligação entre os dois e acontecimentos felizes começam a surgir na vida de ambos.
