In marathon running, a pacemaker is the supporting runner who leads during the first section of a long-distance event to set the pace for
the main runner. The pacemaker plays a great tactical role for his team but cannot be the champion himself. Directed by Kim Dal Jung, the
human drama Pacemaker follows the tireless footsteps of a runner who was forced to give up his dreams, but would not give up on
running. Acclaimed actor Kim Myung Min (Detective K) adds yet another inspiring performance to his filmography as the eponymous
hero. The legendary Ahn Sung Ki co-stars as his coach, while popular actress Go Ara (Dance Subaru) plays a pole vaulter.
